BMW adopts blade-free wind power system at MINI plant

(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group has announced the installation of the UK's first 'stationary' wind power system at its MINI plant in Oxford, using innovative technology from Aeromine Technologies.


The system generates clean energy with no visible moving parts, and is being used as a test to evaluate its potential for improving energy efficiency at BMW sites around the world.

The project is part of the BMW Startup Garage, which supports early-stage startups.

The unit's blade-free design minimizes noise, vibration and environmental impact, aligning the initiative with BMW's commitment to sustainability.
