Mercialys: completes ?300 million bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Mercialys today successfully placed a new 7-year bond issue for a nominal amount of €300 million, with a coupon of 4.
0% and a spread of 165 bps.

The issue was oversubscribed 7.3 times, reflecting investors' confidence in the Company's credit quality.

This issue will contribute to Mercialys's general corporate purposes and will enable it to exercise in full its make-whole option on its bond maturing in July 2027, with a residual nominal amount of €200 million and a coupon of 4.625%.

These operations will help extend the average maturity of the property company's debt, which stood at 3.3 years at the end of June 2024, and strengthen its liquidity.

Mercialys is rated BBB with stable outlook by Standard & Poor's.
