Tesco: supported by broker's comments

(CercleFinance.com) - Tesco gained nearly 2% in London, helped by comments from UBS, which reaffirmed its 'buy' recommendation on the supermarket giant's shares, with a price target raised from 330 to 400 pence.


'For the first time in several years, we now see a margin opportunity at Tesco', explained the broker, adding that it was raising its expectations in terms of medium-term EBIT margins for the British group.
