Sopra Steria: sells Sopra banking software business
(CercleFinance.com) - Sopra Steria yesterday announced the sale of most of the activities of Sopra Banking Software.
This sale completes Sopra Steria's refocusing on services and digital solutions, as announced on 21 February 2024. It follows Sopra Steria's sale to Sopra GMT on 19 July 2024 of 3.619 million Axway shares and on 26 July 2024 of preferential subscription rights held as part of the capital increase carried out by Axway in August. Sopra Steria has received E410.5m since the end of H1 2024 as a result of these different disposals. Sopra Steria still holds 11.1% of Axway's capital. Copyright (c) 2024 CercleFinance.com.
