Sopra Steria: sale of Sopra Banking Software activities

(CercleFinance.com) - Sopra Steria today announced the completion of the sale of most of the activities of Sopra Banking Software.


This sale completes the refocusing of Sopra Steria's activities on services and digital solutions, which was announced on February 21, 2024.

It follows the sale by Sopra Steria to Sopra GMT, on July 19, 2024, of 3.619 million Axway shares and on July 26, 2024, of the preferential subscription rights held as part of the capital increase carried out by Axway in August.

The sums received by Sopra Steria since the end of the 1st half of 2024 following these various disposals amount to 410.5 ME.

Sopra Steria remains an Axway shareholder with 11.1% of the capital.
