Lockheed Martin: 1st F-35A Lightning II for Poland

(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin presented Poland's first F-35A Lightning II to the Polish government at a ceremony, marking a key milestone for the Polish Air Force and strengthening the alliance with the USA.


Major General Ireneusz Nowak expressed his pride in introducing this new generation of aircraft, which will 'strengthen Poland's defense'.

The F-35s, dubbed 'Husarz,' will improve air superiority and interoperability with European partners, Lockheed Martin assures.

Poland will receive 32 F-35s, the first of which will be delivered in December and based in Arkansas for pilot training.
