GE Vernova: launches grid stabilization solution

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova has launched 'FACTSFLEX GFMe', an advanced solution to enhance the stability of power grids and facilitate the integration of renewable energies.


This system combines GE's STATCOM technology with supercapacitors to stabilize the grid by enabling rapid response to disturbances.

It is designed to recreate the inertia lost with the closure of traditional thermal power plants, offering superior performance in terms of voltage and active power compared with battery-based solutions.

The 'FACTSFLEX GFMe' is now available worldwide.
