Nokia: contract for Packet Core in the Baltic States

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that it has been chosen by Bite Group to support its evolution towards advanced 5G services and simplify its network architecture in Latvia and Lithuania, while increasing core network capacity and performance.


By implementing a Nokia Packet Core, the operator says that it will be able to offer its customers ultra-reliable connectivity and enhanced mobile broadband data services, and deliver more advanced solutions, such as mobile enterprise virtual private network services.

The Finnish group's solution will seamlessly integrate 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies into a single set of servers for millions of subscribers, increasing business agility and optimizing Bite Group's network operating costs.
