Viridien: launches multi-client 3D seismic program

(CercleFinance.com) - Viridien has announced the launch of its multi-client 3D seafloor (OBN) seismic program in the Gulf of Mexico, covering 330 blocks in the Garden Banks and Keathley Canyon areas.


Funded by industry, the project began in July 2024, with first images scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.

The program will use advanced technologies, including long-offset OBN data, a full azimuth field and the Sercel TPS marine seismic source, to enhance subsea imaging.
