Apple: Kevan Parekh to become Group CFO

(CercleFinance.com) - Apple announced on Tuesday the appointment of Kevan Parekh as the company's next CFO, a position hitherto held by Luca Maestri.


Kevan Parekh, who currently holds the role of Vice President for Financial Planning and Analysis, will take office on 1 January 2025, when he will also join the US tech group's Executive Committee.

A graduate of the University of Michigan and holder of an MBA from the University of Chicago, he joined the inventor of the iPhone 11 years ago after stints at Thomson Reuters and General Motors.

Starting next year, Luca Maestri will remain in charge of Corporate Services, a position that encompasses technology systems, information security and real estate.

During his ten-year tenure, Maestri - a firm believer in financial discipline - will have seen Apple's sales more than double, in particular thanks to a five-fold increase in revenues from services.
