EDF: successful issue of senior green bonds

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announces the successful completion of a multi-tranche senior green bond issue for a nominal amount of 310 million Swiss francs, enabling the company to finance its strategy and objective of contributing to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.


The issue consists of two bond tranches of CHF 155 million each, respectively with a five-year maturity and a fixed coupon of 1.5650%, and an eight-year maturity and a fixed coupon of 1.7425%.

The net proceeds will be used to finance and/or refinance investments defined in EDF's Green Financing Framework and aligned with the European taxonomy in renewable energy and hydropower projects.
