EDreams Odigeo: Board of Directors to be strengthened

(CercleFinance.com) - eDreams Odigeo has announced that the appointment of Laurence Berman, former CEO of Jet Tours, will be proposed as an independent director at its next Annual General Meeting.


The online travel specialist - which owns the eDreams, GO Voyages, Opodo and Travellink websites, as well as the Liligo comparator - stresses that this appointment should enable it to strengthen its capabilities at a "pivotal" moment for the group, namely the final chapter of its strategic roadmap.

In this context, the adoption of an enlarged Board of Directors is expected to play a decisive role in the pursuit of growth and the achievement of new milestones.

Laurence Berman holds a Master's degree from Essec and an MBA from the University of Chicago. She was previously Vice President of Disneyland Paris and Managing Director of the vacation company Jet Tours.

She is currently a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of PortAventura, one of Europe's largest theme and leisure parks.

The Group's next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held on September 27.
