Estée Lauder: CEO to leave within a year
(CercleFinance.com) - On announcing its Q4 2023-24 results, Estée Lauder reports that its CEO Fabrizio Freda has informed the Board of Directors of his intention to retire at the end of FY 2024-25.
The Board of Directors is well advanced in its CEO succession planning process, which has taken into account numerous highly qualified internal and external candidates, the cosmetics group says.
Fabrizio Freda will continue to lead Estée Lauder until his successor is appointed, when he will accompany him/her to ensure a smooth transition - he and will also be available during 2025-26 in an advisory capacity.
