Ageas: BNP Paribas strengthens, Fosun lightens

(CercleFinance.com) - In accordance with financial transparency rules, Ageas reports that BNP Paribas has notified it that, on August 9, its subsidiary BNP Paribas Cardif had exceeded the legal threshold of 5% of the shares issued by Ageas, bringing the French bank's stake to 9.
80%.

At the same time, the Chinese conglomerate Fosun submitted another notification announcing that, on the same day, its stake had fallen below the statutory threshold of 3% of the shares issued by the Belgian insurance company, to 1.11%.
