Subsea7: 'major' contract in Gulf of Mexico

(CercleFinance.com) - Para-petroleum services provider Subsea7 has announced that it has been awarded a "major" contract (i.
e. worth between $50m and $150m, according to its terminology) in the US Gulf of Mexico.

It says that the scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, construction and offshore installation of a water injection pipeline, hull piping and associated subsea infrastructure.

The Luxembourg-domiciled group adds that project management and engineering work will start immediately at its offices in Houston, Texas, with offshore activity scheduled to begin in 2026.
