Ageas: Amundi crosses the 3% capital threshold

(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian insurer Ageas announced on Tuesday evening that Amundi had exceeded the threshold of 3% of its share capital on Wednesday August 7, following an acquisition of shares, and now holds 3.
02% of the group.

By way of comparison, Amundi's stake reached 2.81% on December 21, making it the company's fifth largest shareholder, behind BNP Paribas, BlackRock, the Belgian sovereign wealth fund FPIM and the Chinese Fosun.

On the Brussels stock exchange, Ageas shares were up 0.5% late Wednesday morning, outperforming a BEL 20 index down by around 0.5%.
