WPP: sells all its shares in FGS Global to KKR

(CercleFinance.com) - KKR today announced the acquisition of WPP's entire stake in FGS Global, the world's leading communications and public affairs consultancy.


The proposed transaction, which values FGS at $1.7 billion, is supported by FGS management and builds on KKR's initial minority investment in July 2023.

This investment underscores KKR's deep belief in FGS's vision and strategy to become the leading global communications advisor helping customers navigate an increasingly complex stakeholder economy.

Upon completion of the transaction, the shareholding of FGS's more than 500 employee shareholders will represent some 26% of the company.
