Caterpillar: Q2 EPS $5.48 (-3.4%)

(CercleFinance.com) - Caterpillar has announced its Q2 2024 results.
Total sales and revenues for Q2 2024 were $16.689bn, down $629m (-4%), from $17.318bn in Q2 2023. NB: pmt +4.8%.

Its operating profit margin was 20.9% in Q2 2024, compared with 21.1% in Q2 2023.

Operating profit was $3.482bn, down $170m, or 5%, compared with $3.652bn in Q2 2023.

EPS reached $5.48 in Q2 2024, compared with $5.67 in Q2 2023. Adjusted EPS was $5.99, compared with $5.55 in Q2 2023.
