Carbios: a biorecycling plant with FCC in the UK

(CercleFinance.com) - Carbios and FCC Environment UK, one of the UK's leading recycling and waste management companies, have signed a letter of intent to set up a PET biorecycling plant in the UK under license to Carbios' technology.


Carbios' biorecycling technology is essential to support FCC's ambition to contribute to the circular economy by exploring new processes and technologies to produce recycled PET (r-PET) from PET plastics and textiles', says the group.

For Carbios, this letter of intent confirms the interest of the waste management sector, in addition to that of plastics producers, and would enable Carbios technology to gain a foothold in the UK', says the group's management.
