PostNL: upbeat after quarterly results
(CercleFinance.com) - PostNL is up 3% in Amsterdam following the publication, for its second quarter 2024, of normalized EBIT stable year-on-year at 18 million euros, as well as negative free cash flow, albeit reduced from -34 to -19 million year-on-year.
The Dutch postal operator saw its revenues rise by 3% to 795 million euros, underpinned by 6% growth in parcel volumes, driven in particular by continued strong growth from international customers.
'Reflecting the assumption of a gradual improvement in the economic environment', PostNL confirms its annual targets of normalized EBIT of between 80 and 110 million euros, and free cash flow of between zero and 40 million.
