ExxonMobil: slight sequential increase in Q2 EPS

2bn, or $2.14 per share, vs. EPS of $2.06 in Q1, and the second-highest earnings for this time of year in the last decade.
We achieved record quarterly production from our low-cost supply assets in the Permian and Guyana, with the highest oil production since the merger of Exxon and Mobil, it says.
With cash flow from operating activities of $10.6bn and operating cash flow excluding working capital movements of $15.2bn, the energy group distributed $9.5bn in dividends and share buybacks to its shareholders.
