Bonduelle: annual sales slightly below expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Bonduelle has announced sales of €2,371 million for its 2023-2024 fiscal year (ended June 30), representing like-for-like growth of +2.
7% (or -1.4% on a reported basis).

This figure is "slightly below expectations" but includes "a favorable product and brand mix", the group points out.

In detail, in Q4 of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, sales rose by +2.6% like-for-like and +0.5% on a reported basis.

' Despite more moderate sales growth over the last 2 quarters - which does not enable the Group to deliver its annual sales growth target - the Group confirms its objective of increasing current operating profitability, thanks to the strong performance of branded activities and the effectiveness of internal productivity and cost-control initiatives', says the Group's press release.

In concrete terms, Bonduelle expects to reach the upper end of the range of recurring operating profitability announced in October 2023, i.e. 75 to 80 million euros at constant exchange rates, and a recurring operating margin in excess of 3% for the 2023-2024 financial year.
