DHL: interim profits collapse
(CercleFinance.com) - DHL Group shares are down 4% in Frankfurt today, after the mail and logistics group published EPS that fell 20% to E1.
27 for H1 2024, with EBIT also down 20%, to E2.66bn.
At almost E40.9bn, revenues were fairly flat (-0.3%) over H1, but rose 2.7% to over E20.6bn in Q2 alone, despite the persistently weak economic environment.
Expecting the typical positive effects of the high season in H2, DHL confidently confirms that it is targeting operating profit of between E6bn six and E6.6bn in 2024, and between E7.5bn and E8.5bn for 2026.
