Daimler Truck: targets E53bn to E55bn sales in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Group Q2 2024 sales were E13.
3bn, below the previous year's Q2 figure of E13.9bn.

DT's adjusted EBIT in the period under review amounted to E1.17bn (vs. E1.43bn in Q2 2023). In the industrial business (IB), adjusted EBIT amounted to E1.16bn (vs. E1.36bn).

EPS came to E0.93 in Q2 2024, compared with E1.11 in Q2 2023.

Worldwide Group sales amounted to 112,195 units in Q2 (vs. 131,888 units).

For the current financial year, the group now expects sales of 460 to 480 thousand units and sales of E53bn to E55bn. EBIT is expected to be well below the previous year's level.

For the industrial business, Daimler Truck expects sales of E50bn to E52bn. Free cash flow from the industrial business should now be at the previous year's level.
