Wendel: H1 net income, Group share of 388.2 ME

(CercleFinance.com) - Fully diluted net asset value stood at E175.
2 per share at June 30, 2024, compared with E162.3 per share at December 31, 2023, corresponding to an increase of +7.9% since the beginning of the year and +10.4% restated for the dividend paid in May 2024.

Consolidated sales for the first half of 2024 totaled̀ 3,904.3 ME, up +13.4%, including +8.1% organic growth. The contribution of foreign exchange was -4.6%, while changes in the scope of consolidation represented an effect of +9.8%.

Group share of net income amounted to ME388.2 in H1 2024, compared with ME39.6 in H1 2023, reflecting the disposal gain of ME418.6 Group share relating to the sale of Constantia Flexibles in H1 2024.

Laurent Mignon, Chairman of Wendel's Management Board, commented: ' The first half of 2024 was dynamic for Wendel and its portfolio companies. Growth in fully diluted Net Asset Value amounted to 7.9%, driven in particular by the good stock market and operating performances of Bureau Veritas'.
