Themador: half-year results show decline

(CercleFinance.com) - Thermador Groupe lost more than 3% in the wake of the publication of net income, group share, down 26.
6% to 25.3 million euros, and operating income before non-recurring items down 27.8% to 34.1 million, for the first half of 2024.

At 271.5 million euros, sales for the wholesale distributor of plumbing equipment contracted by 16.1%, in what it deems to be "probably the harshest environment it has experienced in 25 years".

"The trend for the first 20 days of July is slightly less bad (-13%). It has to be said that the return to equilibrium and then to growth is taking longer than we had imagined at the end of March", he warns.
