Sika: targets sales growth of 6%-9% in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - The construction chemicals group generated sales of 5,834.
8m CHF in H1, compared with 5,345.5m in the same period last year, up 12.8% in local currencies. Sales growth in Swiss francs amounted to 9.2%.

Regarding profitability, Sika increased its EBITDA margin to 18.7% from 16.5% the previous year. The group achieved a significant margin of 55.1% in H1 (previous year: 52.7%).

EBITDA was 1,092.9m CHF (previous year: 881.1m CHF). Profit after tax was 577.1m CHF, up 40.1%. Diluted EPS amounted to 3.59 CHF, up 38.6%.

For 2024, Sika expects sales growth in local currencies of 6ù-9% and an over-proportional increase in EBITDA.
