Alten: H1 sales up almost 3%

(CercleFinance.com) - Alten has published H1 sales of E2108m, up 2.
9% y-o-y. Sales in France rose by 5.7% to E692m, and by 1.6% internationally to E1415m.

France and Southern Europe achieved satisfactory organic growth. Asia and North America were flat. Germany, Northern and Eastern Europe, as well as the UK, were down, penalising the group's activity, Alten says.

Given the persistently gloomy macro-economic context, Alten now forecasts FY organic growth of 1.1% to 1.4%.

As a result, Alten expects its activity rate to be slightly lower than last year, as is the SG&A to sales coverage ratio.

Operating margin will therefore be impacted; it should be between 8.7% and 8.9% for the full year.
