Bouygues launches multilingual conversation service

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Telecom announces the creation of 'B-babel', presented as an innovative multilingual instant conversation service for its sales advisors.


This AI-based service is being launched today in all 519 boutiques in France, and will enable sales advisors to converse easily with foreign customers in their native language.

Customers will be able to converse from their own smartphone, with their Bouygues Telecom sales advisor in72different languages.

In concrete terms, the sales advisor will launch B-babel on his or her phone, then invite the other person to flash a QR code with his or her own smartphone.

In just a few seconds, the customer will be able to start a conversation in his or her language, either in writing or orally, from his or her phone, with the translation automatically appearing on the sales advisor's phone.
