Endesa: on track to meet 2024 targets
(CercleFinance.com) - The group posted sales of E10.
41bn in H1, down 20.6% on the same period last year (E13.12bn).
Capex in H1 totaled E924m, down 16%.
The company reported EBITDA of E2.413bn, marking a slight y-o-y decline of 2.5%.
Net income came to E800m in June, down 9%, normalizing its trend after a Q1 marked by the recording of the extraordinary tax of 1.2% on revenues. Net ordinary income (taken into account for the dividend distribution) fell by 12% to E772m.
Endesa's H1 results have enabled it to confirm that it is on track to achieve its main financial targets for FY 2024. These targets include gross operating profit (EBITDA) of E4.9bn to E5.2bn and net ordinary profit of between E1.6bn and E1.7bn.
Endesa anticipates the imminent completion of the sale of a minority stake in its portfolio of operational solar projects in Spain (2,000 megawatts).
