Endesa: on track to meet 2024 targets

41 billion in the first half, down 20.6% on the same period last year (€13.12 billion).

Capital expenditure in the first half totaled €924 million, down 16%.

The company reported EBITDA of €2.413 billion, marking a slight year-on-year decline of 2.5%.

Net income came to 800 million euros in June, down 9%, normalizing its trend after a first quarter marked by the recording of the extraordinary tax of 1.2% on revenues. Net ordinary income (taken into account for the dividend distribution) fell by 12% to 772 million euros.

Endesa's results at the end of the first half have enabled it to reaffirm to the market that it is on track to achieve its main financial objectives for the full year 2024. These targets include gross operating profit (EBITDA) of between 4.9 and 5.2 billion euros and net ordinary profit of between 1.6 and 1.7 billion euros.

Endesa anticipates the imminent completion of the sale of a minority stake in its portfolio of operational solar projects in Spain (2,000 megawatts).
