Texas Instruments : EPS down 35% in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, Texas Instruments reported an EPS drop of 35% to $1.
22 for its second quarter 2024, inflated by five cents due to an exceptional item that was not included in its target range of $1.05 to $1.25. The company's revenues of $3.82 billion were down 16% year-on-year, but up 4% sequentially.

At $3.82 billion, revenues were down 16% year-on-year, but up 4% sequentially, with declines in industrial and automotive more than offset by increases in other end markets.

For its third quarter, the Dallas-based semiconductor manufacturer says it expects sales of between $3.94 and $4.26 billion, and EPS of between $1.24 and $1.48.
