Antin: acquisition of Excellence Imagerie abandoned

(CercleFinance.com) - Antin Infrastructure Partners announced on Wednesday that the planned acquisition of Excellence Imagerie, a French medical imaging group, had not been finalized.


In a press release, the investment fund explained that the operation had to be abandoned due to the inability to obtain certain regulatory conditions that had been set when the transaction was formalized last January.

Following this announcement, the share price fell by over 2% in early trading on Wednesday.

Excellence Imagerie, which currently comprises four radiology centers, making it one of the leading players in the sector in France, employs 160 people and 60 radiologists, enabling it to carry out 400,000 examinations a year.
