Orange: EBITDAaL up slightly in 1st half

28 euros for the first six months of 2024, compared with 0.30 euros a year earlier, and EBITDAaL up 2.5% (on a comparable basis) to 5.51 billion euros, in line with its full-year target.

In the second quarter alone, the telecom operator reported EBITDAaL of 3.11 billion euros on sales of 9.99 billion, up 2.6% and 0.9% respectively on a comparable basis.

These results continue to be driven by the remarkable performance of activities in Africa and the Middle East, and by the solid improvement in EBITDAaL in Europe, including France, where EBITDAaL stabilized in the first half", explains CEO Christel Heydemann.

Orange thus confirms its objectives for 2024, including a slight increase in EBITDAaL, and indicates that it will pay an interim dividend of 0.30 euros in cash on December 5, out of a dividend of 0.75 euros per share to be proposed in 2025 in respect of the current financial year.
