GE Aerospace: targets raised on a solid Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday GE Aerospace announced that it has raised its annual targets after posting "solid" Q2 results.
The US aerospace group reported double-digit growth in order intake, operating profit and FCF over the quarter.
Sales rose by 4% to $9.1bn, with operating profit up 37% to $1.9bn.
Order intake climbed by 18% to $11.2bn, while FCF increased by 17% to $1.1bn.
GE Aero now expects FY FCF of $5.3bn to $5.6bn, compared with a previous forecast of over $5bn.
It has raised its operating profit target from $6.2bn-$6.6bn to $6.5bn-$6.8bn.
Following this publication, the stock was up almost 4% in PMT on Tuesday morning.
