Riber: growth in sight thanks to order book

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Riber reported a strong increase in order intake for the first half of the year, a growth it attributes to the current strength of the semiconductor market.


The specialist in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) equipment for the semiconductor industry reported a 13% increase in sales to €13.7 million for the first six months of the year.

The Group emphasizes that the first half of the year was marked above all by a strong increase in order intake, with eight systems orders booked, reflecting strong demand in both the research and industrial production fields.

Overall, the order book stood at 36 million euros at June 30, up 18% year-on-year.

The company - which points to a market "driven by innovation" - says it expects to book further orders in the second half of the year.

For the year as a whole, Riber anticipates growth in sales, accompanied by an increase in earnings.

Following this publication, the share gained 0.8% on Tuesday in early trading on the Paris Bourse, bringing its gains since the start of the year to over 32%.
