Netflix: raises targets for 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly earnings call on Thursday evening, Netflix announced that it has nudged up its operating margin forecast for FY 2024 to 26%, for a revenue growth target range tightened up to between 14% and 15%.

The video-streaming platform reported EPS growth of 48% at $4.88 for Q2 2024, with an operating margin improving by almost five points to 27.2%, slightly ahead of its forecast.

Netflix says it exceeded its revenue expectations, with revenues up 17% (+22% excluding currency effects) to $9.56bn, mainly driven by 16% growth in average paid subscriptions.
