Nvidia launches enterprise AI model with Mistral

(CercleFinance.com) - Nvidia announced on Thursday the launch with Mistral AI of a new state-of-the-art language model dedicated to enterprise applications such as chatbots, multilingual tasks, coding or synthesis.


The American processor manufacturer and the French start-up point out that this enterprise AI model - dubbed 'Mistral NeMo 12B' - excels, among other things, in so-called 'multi-turn' conversations, mathematics and common-sense reasoning.

Marketed under the Apache 2.0 license, intended to foster innovation, this open model should enable companies to integrate Mistral's AI into commercial applications 'seamlessly'.

It is delivered as a Nvidia Inference Microservice 'NIM', a containerized format that promotes flexibility by facilitating application deployment.

As a result, models can be deployed anywhere, in a matter of minutes, rather than days", explain Nvidia and Mistral in their press release.
