Herige: additional resources thanks to sale to Samse

(CercleFinance.com) - Herige has announced that it has "additional financial resources to support its industrial strategy" thanks to the sale of its materials, civil engineering and natural stone trading activities to the Samse group on April 30.


The activities sold represent sales of 374.8 million euros in 2023, and include 79 sales outlets in Western France. The sale enabled Herige to reduce its debt by 124.6 million euros, thereby improving its gearing by 90 points.

Herige also realized a capital gain of 33 million euros on the sale, representing a 23% increase in shareholders' equity. This capital gain offsets net income of -4.4 million generated pro rata temporis by the scope of consolidation.
