Getlink: 5% drop in truck traffic in June

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink, Eurotunnel's parent company, reports that its LeShuttle service carried 216,772 passenger vehicles in June, up 1% year-on-year, but that LeShuttle Freight carried 97,501 trucks, down 5%.


Nearly 968,000 passenger vehicles and more than 600,000 trucks have crossed the Channel on the group's shuttles since January 1, down 4% in both cases on the first six months of the previous year.
