KKR: Omnissa launches as independent software company

(CercleFinance.com) - KKR announces that Omnissa is officially launching as an independent software company with $1.
5bn in annual recurring revenues and 26,000 global customers. The announcement follows KKR's acquisition of the company for approximately $4bn from Broadcom Inc.

Led by CEO Shankar Iyer and a team of 4,000 employees, Omnissa plans to invest in AI, open APIs and simplified strategies to create the industry's first autonomous workspace experience.

Omnissa combines its products in unified endpoint management, virtual applications and desktops, digital employee experience, and security into an AI platform automating the provisioning and securing of employee devices and applications. Omnissa will detail its future strategy on 23 July.
