Nokia: agreement with Telefónica for 5G networks in Spain

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced an agreement with Telefónica - through its domains Telefónica Mobile Spain and Telefónica IoT & Big Data Tech Spain and Telefonica IoT & Big Data Tech - to stimulate the development of the 5G private network market in Spain.


Under this three-year framework agreement, around 100 Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC), Modular Private Wireless (MPW), MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) solutions and industrial devices will be deployed to meet the needs of key industries.

This collaboration is an important step towards strengthening Industry 4.0 in the Spanish enterprise market, enabling data-driven industries, enhancing Telefonica's network capabilities and providing a clear path towards the migration of use cases to 5G.
