Wendel: investsin Globeducate

(CercleFinance.com) - Wendel reports that it has reached an agreement with Providence Equity Partners to invest in Globeducate, one of the world's leading K-12 education groups, a transaction expected to be finalised in H2 2024.


Wendel would invest around E625m in equity, alongside Providence, and would own around 50% of the company's capital based on an enterprise value of around E2bn.

With over 6,000 employees serving more than 40,000 students, Globeducate expects to achieve sales of around E440m (of which around 80% in Europe) and adjusted EBITDA of around E120m over the twelve months to end-August 2025.
