Shell: EU approves joint acquisition of Dragon LNG Gp.

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control of Dragon LNG Group by Shell and VTTI B.
V. of the Netherlands.

The transaction mainly concerns the operation of an LNG regasification, import and storage terminal in the UK.

The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given that Dragon LNG has negligible activities in the European Economic Area.
