Eiffage: contract to equip six EPR2 reactors

(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage, Spie Nucléaire and ABC have announced that they have been awarded, as part of a consortium, the contract for the main diesel emergency power units for the six EPR2 nuclear reactor projects, a contract worth over E900m.


It covers the design, qualification, manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of 24 10 MWe generator sets, for the project of six EPR2 units grouped in pairs on three sites (Penly, Gravelines and Bugey).

The design phase will start this year. Implementation of the project, scheduled to last 17 years, will require the mobilisation of some 350 people for each of the three sites at peak activity.
