Neoen: contract signed for majority block

(CercleFinance.com) - Neoen announces that Brookfield has signed an agreement to acquire approximately 53.
12% of the outstanding Neoen shares from Impala, the FSP managed by ISALT, Cartusia, Xavier Barbaro and other shareholders, at a price of €39.85 per share.

In addition, Bpifrance has undertaken to tender all its Neoen shares, representing 4.36% of the renewable energies group's share capital, to the takeover bid to be launched by Brookfield following completion of the acquisition of the majority block.

As a reminder, exclusive negotiations on these transactions were announced on May 30. It is expected that regulatory approvals will be obtained by the fourth quarter of 2024, and that the takeover bid will be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
