GTT: tank design order for 10 LNG carriers

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT is pleased to announce that it has received an order from its partner Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) for the design of the tanks of ten new very large LNG carriers to be built in the 2nd quarter of 2024.


GTT will design the tanks for these ten LNG carriers, each of which will offer five tanks with a total capacity of 271,000 m3, and will incorporate the NO96 Super+ membrane containment system developed by GTT.

Delivery of the ships is scheduled between the first quarter of 2030 and the fourth quarter of 2031.
