Alstom: inauguration of line 14 extensions

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces the inauguration of the line 14 extensions to the north and south of Paris, which will enable one million passengers to travel from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Orly Airport in 40 minutes on board the MP14, the group's new-generation rubber-tyred metro.


These MP14 trains have been delivered in accordance with the commitments made to the RATP and Île-de-France Mobilités to ensure the opening of these extensions, particularly with a view to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games," he emphasizes.

In all, more than 1,000 Alstom employees at seven of the Group's 11 sites in France have worked to make this project a success. At the Le Creusot site, up to 15 bogies are produced per week for the MP14 project.
