BlackRock: EU approves acquisition of GIM

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Global Infrastructure Management (GIM) by BlackRock, both from the US.


The transaction mainly concerns fund management activities.

The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction.
