TotalEnergies: wins concession offshore Heligoland

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies, as a shareholder of Offshore Wind One GmbH, announces that it has been awarded the N-11.
2 concession located in the North Sea, approximately 120 kilometers northwest of the German archipelago of Heligoland.

The concession is for 25 years, which could be extended to 35 years. TotalEnergies will be able to take advantage of the synergies between this new project and the 2 GW concession, N-12.1, won last year.

As part of this award, Offshore Wind One GmbH will pay the German federal government E196m by June 2025, which will be allocated to marine conservation and the promotion of environmentally-friendly fishing.

In addition, an annual royalty of E88m will be paid for 20 years to the electricity transmission system operator responsible for connecting the project, once the site has been commissioned.
